Saint Margaret of Scotland dedicated her life to serving the vulnerable and building a community rooted in peace, love, and dignity. Bearing her name, St. Margaret’s Family of Care has honored that legacy in New Orleans since 1931.

The people we serve are more than residents — they are our friends, our neighbors, and our family. It is that attitude of genuine love and respect, alongside our expert staff and uncompromising standards of care, that sets St. Margaret’s apart as New Orleans’ most trusted senior care network.

Our growth over the years has allowed us to serve more of our community than ever before — through skilled nursing at St. Margaret’s at Mercy and St. Jude’s, specialized ALS care at the Team Gleason House, and a full continuum of support services. That growth has never come at the cost of the personal, individualized care we’ve always provided. Every hearth room, dining space, and private bedroom is designed to feel like home — because we believe every person deserves to live with purpose and dignity, regardless of the care they need.
